Advantages
There is no neutral or negative push zone. It results an output more than 50% superior to a classique fin,
allowing a outstanding performances.
The automatic slope of the wings produces the same effect as a " automatical gear box ". It results from this a strong
power at the start and a small amplitude of finning at full speed.
The more the swimmer makes efforts, the more there are reactions. The limit is not provided by the fin but by the power of the swimmer.
The active periods are distributed on the 3/4 of the cycle of finning. There is not thus a strong point, the movement is
more "cast", more pleasant.
At low speed, the wings being very sloped, there is no much stress on the ankle.
The slope of the wings varying with the speed of the swimmer, the same fin can be suitable to a large number of personnes, from
weaker to strongest.
Without the addition of thrusts, or other systems allowing a relative maintenance of the wings in horizontal position, the swimmer has
very little support when it is, him even, in horizontal position.
On the surface, the swimmer must take care to not get the wings out of the water. When that arrives, they are inclined more than the normal.
When they enter in water again, it occurs a “failure”. Indeed, if the wing is more tilted than its trajectory, the force of push is then
directed backwards (contrary within the meaning of advance of the swimmer).
